Meet Toni

Toni Avery is an artist working primarily in the Pacific Northwest. Her images reflect the range and diversity of the surrounding landscapes from the high desert, forests, beaches and surrounding farmland of the Willamette Valley, to abstracts and still life.

After receiving her Art degree from Marylhurst University, Toni worked as a Design Consultant but was never far from her love of painting and photography.

Today she uses a number of her photographs as subject matter for paintings, referring to them only as “points of departure”, but it is her vision that completes a painting.

Toni’s artwork is included in a number of private collections, and can be seen in many public collections, as well, such as Kaiser Permanente’s “Healing Artwork Collection,” on display at the Westside Medical Centers in Hillsboro and Beaverton, Oregon and is also featured in their 2013 publication, “Tranquil Relief Through Nature.”

Some of her artwork has also been included in art and architecture of local commercial buildings. Toni continuous to take part in group shows each year, earning her a number of Blue Ribbons from the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts and Best of Show from Salem Oregon’s “Something Red” exhibit.

Toni’s work continues to be a part of many local exhibits as well as shows throughout Oregon.
